E magari una volta o l’altra, quando l’anno sarà cambiato e io sarò tornata ad essere una persona saggia che posta almeno un paio di volte la settimana, faremo un post sulle campane in letteratura.

Intanto, però, essendosi la Vigilia di Natale, non si può rinunciare alla Carola delle Campane, vero?

Felice Vigilia, o Lettori – e a presto!

Oh, quest’anno è davvero difficile seguire le buone vecchie tradizioni, con il Blogo che non collabora… Dov’è mai finito il suo spirito natalizio, mi domando…?

Ad ogni modo, noi procediamo imperterriti – o almeno tanto imperterriti quanto si può esserlo nelle circostanze: ovvero, ci arrangiamo.

Oggi è la Vigilia di Natale, e per la Vigilia su SEdS si ascolta la Carola delle Campane, giusto?

E a dire la verità, stavamo per intitolare questo post “Gaio Scampanio”, ma poi mi sono fermata – perché in effetti, questa carola terribilmente gaia non è… non a caso, è l’elaborazione di un canto natalizio ucraino. Ma d’altra parte va bene così, perché è bellissima, e perché è così che per me suona la notte di Natale: gelida e lucente e misteriosa e vagamente triste.

Lettori, cari Lettori! Felice Vigilia e, le tradizioni essendo le tradizioni, la Carola delle Campane, questa volta nella deliziosa versione del coro di Saint Paul, con uno sguardo alla vita natalizia dei piccoli coristi…

E Natale è domani, ma oggi si corre, stasera è per le memorie. Vi auguro campane, lucette bianche, bei ricordi vecchi e nuovi e, ancora una volta, felice Vigilia.

A Day of Days, per me. Pare che fin da bambinetta sia stata sempre un tipo da vigilie… Oh well, magari ne parleremo, una volta o l’altra.

Da bambina, mi pareva sempre che la Notte di Natale dovesse essere piena di campane e campanelle… Forse è per via di questa poesiola che ripetevo insieme alla mia meravigliosa nonna ogni 24 dicembre…

Credo che sia diabolicamente complicata, ma per chi volesse cimentarsi, qui c’è lo spartito per pianoforte, e qui per coro a quattro voci.
